For some reason, there is a connection between grilling and Dads. That image of him flipping burgers, making them just the way you like, standing over a firey grill…it’s a classic!

This Father’s Day, we’re adding something that you can bring to the family barbecue: homemade hamburger buns. Best of all, this recipe uses a bread machine to mix and knead the dough, so it’s super easy! Toss in the ingredients, press start, and let the machine do all the kneading for you. From there, just shape, rise and bake.

Once you see how easy these are and incredibly delicious, you will never buy them from a store again! It’s the kind of homemade touch that makes a simple backyard meal feel extra special—with hardly any hands-on work.
Happy grilling—and happy Father’s Day from all of us here at the farm!
