Accommodations

Come experience our farm and stay in one of our five private guest suites located within our barn. Our amenities include a fishing pond, dock, pedal boat, nature trails, picnic areas, movie theater, sauna, billiards room, fitness center, lounge, patios and fire pits. Guests are welcome to interact with our retired race horses, and be entertained by our goats, chickens and loveable dogs. 

Plan to indulge in an evening bourbon, morning muffins, fresh eggs and fruit. Treat yourself to a pint of our delicious homemade ice cream. 


Our accommodations are pet friendly (to friendly pets), and pets always stay free. Your pup is welcome to enjoy our fenced in dog park or explore the pastures.

Horses

Kentucky is the horse capital of the world, and Nicura Ranch is the place to stay for horse lovers. Our retired horses are stunningly beautiful; each with a unique personality. We invite guests to learn about their pasts as well as their injuries, rehabilitations and adoptions.

We are proud to give these horses the best life possible after the track. A large portion of each reservation supports our horses and animals.

What an absolute gem! After the noise and crowds of Nashville and Louisville, this was the perfect stop on our road trip. The location is amazing and tranquil (but near to the town of Berea), the accommodation is comfortable, homely and authentic. We played pool upstairs in the barn, made use of the theatre room and very much enjoyed the daily muffins.The owners, Nick and Laura were lovely, and being surrounded by animals was sublime. Through our road trip, we stayed in 5 star hotels, but this was the standout stay for us.Ccan't recommend highly enough. I hope to go back again one day.

Best birthday experience present thus far. The lavender room allows you to sleep almost in the stall with Cinnamon and Ginger. There's a windows you can open to see the Goats in their stall. All the fun and no barn smell in our room. I love all the amenities especially getting to spend time with the horses. The homemade goats milk Ice Cream was so good, I can't wait to go back for more. The host's are genius, down to earth, kind folks.
