Grounds & Stables

Guests are invited to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces while visiting the ranch. The gardens, wild flowers, and gorgeous tree-lined hills will be a feast for your eyes in the spring, summer and fall. Winter holds its own magic when the ranch glistens in the snow.

Outside the guest suites, the covered patios offer the perfect space to enjoy the Kentucky weather and watch the horses. The patios overlook the front pasture. There are two fire pits, sitting areas, dining tables, grills (2), and a garden space. Guests are welcome to explore the pastures where they will find wooded hills, a creek, and large fishing pond. The pond is home to our “Redneck Yacht Club” where guests can enjoy the pedal boat, evening lighting, and a fire pit.

We didn’t forget about our 4-legged guests. Dogs are permitted everywhere on the property, but their favorite spot will probably be our private dog park. Nicknamed the “Puppy Paddock” this large fenced in area is horse and goat free. It’s a wonderful place to let your dog run and play. The area also contains a tire swing and plenty of shade. The dog park is a must for our doggie guests!

Guests will also want to check out the barn and stables. Although much smaller in size, the original twenty stable barn (built in the 1940s) is still used for our horses and goats. The renovated barn currently has five stalls, and is full of energy and life. Guests are invited to enjoy time with the animals and participate in grooming and feeding. All suites have interior doors leading into the barn.
